Chocolate Brownie Waffles
 
Ingredients
  • 2 Sticks (or 1 cup) Unsalted Butter
  • 8 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • Fresh Berries
Instructions
  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. In a large saucepan, gently melt butter.
  3. Whisk in the cocoa. Take off heat and let cool for a minute.
  4. Add sugar, flour, salt, egg, and Vanilla Extract.
  5. Drop batter into hot waffle iron.
  6. Gently remove from waffle iron after 30 seconds.
  7. Top with Whipped Crème Fraiche and fresh berries. Enjoy!

Whipped Crème Fraiche
• 1 Cup Whipping Cream
• 6 Tablespoons Crème Fraiche
• 3 Tablespoons Sonoma Syrup Co. Classic Simple Syrup
