Sonoma Lemon Bars
Makes 24 bars
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the flour, salt and extract.
  3. Press the mixture and build up edges by ½ inch into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven.
  5. Blend all the Lemon Filling ingredients and pour over the baked crust.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Let cool. Sift powdered sugar over the top and cut into squares. Yum!
