North Carolina-Style Vinegar BBQ Sauce
  • 1 bottle Sonoma Syrup Apple Cider Infused Drinking Vinegar (about 1 ½ cups)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Ketchup
  • ¼ cup honey
  • kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh garlic puree
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  1. Heat the vinegar, brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Turn heat to low and stir in the ketchup, honey, salt, red pepper, black pepper, garlic and onion powder. Simmer for three minutes. Serve with BBQ Brisket.
