Chase's Toasted Almond Ice Cream
Inspired by sweet times with family, this recipe creates perfectly creamy and nutty ice cream.

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups whole milk
2 egg yolks
½ cup sugar
2 Tbsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Organic Pure Vanilla Extract “Crush”
¾ cup toasted chopped almonds
Directions
Combine cream and milk in a pan over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
Remove milk mixture from heat.
In a small bowl, beat together egg yolks, sugar, and “Crush” until smooth.
Gradually add the egg mixture to the pan, stirring to prevent curdling.
Add mixture to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer instructions.
