Ingredients

½ cup Sonoma Syrup Co. Lime Simple Syrup

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 large egg, room temperature

2 tbsp light brown sugar

1 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract Blend

1 tbsp fresh lime zest

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Lime Simple Syrup

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tsp lime zest

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the Simple Syrup, egg, vanilla extract, lime zest, and lime juice until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Scoop dough into 1½-tablespoon portions and place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are just beginning to set. Do not overbake.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Make the Glaze:
Whisk together powdered sugar, Simple Syrup, lime juice, and zest until smooth.
Drizzle over completely cooled cookies.
Garnish with additional lime zest if desired.
