Sonoma Lemon Bars

Ingredients

For the pastry:

• ½ cup powdered sugar

• 8 oz (2 sticks) unsalted butter

• 1 cup unbleached flour

• 1 cup whole wheat flour

• ½ tsp sea salt

• 1 tsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Vanilla Bean Extract "Blend"

• 1 tsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Almond Extract

For the lemon filling:

• 4 eggs, beaten

• 2 cups sugar

• ½ cup fresh lemon juice

• ¼ cup flour

• 1 tsp grated lemon zest

• ½ tsp baking powder

• 1 tsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Lemon Extract

• ½ tsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Almond Extract

• ½ tsp Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Vanilla Bean Extract "Blend"
