A light and refreshing frozen treat made with just a few ingredients!
Ingredients
-
1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled
-
½ cup Sonoma Syrup Co. Lime Simple Syrup
-
1 tbsp fresh lime juice (optional, for extra tartness)
-
Pinch of sea salt
-
¼ cup water (as needed, for consistency)
Directions
Prep the berries: Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries.
Blend: In a blender or food processor, combine strawberries, Sonoma Syrup Co. Lime Simple Syrup, lime juice (if using), salt, and water. Blend until completely smooth.
Strain (optional): For an ultra-smooth sorbet, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour.
Churn: Pour into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20–25 minutes.
Freeze: Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 2–3 hours, or until firm.
Serve: Scoop and enjoy! Garnish with fresh mint or a lime wedge for extra flair.
