Ingredients

2 sticks or 1 cup unsalted butter
8 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 ½ tsp. Sonoma Syrup Co. Pure Vanilla Extract "Blend"
1½ cups granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp. salt
4 eggs
Fresh berries

Directions

Preheat waffle iron.
In a large saucepan, gently melt butter.
Whisk in the cocoa then take off heat and let cool for a minute.
Add sugar, flour, salt, egg, and vanilla extract.
Drop batter into hot waffle iron.
Gently remove from waffle iron after 30 seconds.
Top with Whipped Crème Fraiche and fresh berries.

1 Cup Whipping Cream
6 Tablespoons Crème Fraiche
3 Tablespoons Sonoma Syrup Co. Classic Simple Syrup
