Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce

Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce

A mouth-wateringly tangy sauce perfect for any grilled meat or veggies!

Ingredients

1½ cups apple cider vinegar
¼ cup brown sugar
3 tbsp. tomato paste
¼ cup Sonoma Syrup Classic Simple Syrup
2 tbsp. kosher salt
2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. fresh garlic puree
1 tsp. onion powder
4 tbsp. mustard seed
4 tsp. chipotle peppers

Directions

Heat the vinegar, brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Turn heat to low and stir in tomato paste, Classic Simple Syrup, salt, red pepper, black pepper, garlic and onion powder, mustard seed and chipotle pepper. Simmer for three minutes.
Baste or marinate!
